FIGURE 1. Distributions of bryophyte records in Paraíba State, Brazil, over 27 years (1987–2014) based on the literature and collection efforts, indicating areas with sampling-effort gaps. Atlantic Forest remnants and Caatinga sites according to IBGE (2007 and 2008 respectively). The areas are named according to their distances from the coast. Spheres in orange indicate rocky outcrops. Green indicates the coast Atlantic Forest; inside the map, gray indicates areas of Caatinga.
