Type (designated by Jousé & Sheshukova-Poretzkaya 1971: 19): — Riedelia mirabilis Jousé.
Notes: — The later isonym Williamriedelia S.Blanco & C.E.Wetzel has no nomenclatural status and is to be regarded as a bibliographic error of citation to be corrected to cite the earlier isonym. Therefore, the new combinations in Williamriedelia proposed by Blanco & Wetzel (2016) are validly published.
