Revolutionizing Agriculture with Smart Farming: A Comprehensive Bibliographic Analysis

Abstract: Farming is critical to the continuation of all anthropogenic activities. Scientific advances in smart agriculture and precision farming provide vital instruments to handle agriculture sustainability concerns in handling the ever-increasing complicated issues in farming systems. The important to maintaining sustainability of agriculture, food security, and environmental conservation is data analytics. Machine learning, big data analytics, cloud technology, and blockchain are examples of innovative communications technology that can help farmers boost production and yield, conserve water, ensure soil and plant health, and promote environmental stewardship. The goal of this research is to provide a comprehensive review of the ICT and agriculture interaction. The review discovered that the ICT and farming literature are rapidly expanding. Highest cited articles, most productive journals, most influential authors, most productive institutions, articles citing ICT & agriculture literature, total citation and publication trends, keyword co-occurrences analysis, and co-citation analysis are all used in bibliometric analysis to determine the impact of the literature.
