Structuring Content in the Interdisciplinary Teaching of Digital Literacy in Primary School
Description
The interdisciplinary approach in education aims to facilitate the learning of new concepts through a directed interaction between disciplines for the simultaneous acquisition of common knowledge, skills and attitudes from different school fields. Aiming at the formation of digital skills, we propose curricular contents in an interdisciplinary approach, for a better understanding of concepts in the field of digital education for primary classes. The article analyses the concepts of interdisciplinarity, educational content and structuring criteria from general to particular in order to develop specific contents for digital education, adapted to a schooling level so as to allow the formation of digital skills. We also propose that the approach to educational content in the study of digital education highlights the transfer of skills by moving from one disciplinary context to another and to other contexts in the students’ experience, promoting the development of capacities and skills.
