RESUMO

Objetivo: Relatar e discutir o restabelecimento da função e estética por meio de um caso clínico de tratamento integrado perio-endo-prótese. Detalhamento de caso: Paciente de 50 anos, gênero feminino, procurou a clínica Odontológica da Universidade Federal do Piauí, em razão do descontentamento estético do seu sorriso. O exame clínico mostrou coroas desadaptadas e desnível da margem gengival dos dentes 11, 21 e 23, o que determinou um planejamento de aumento de coroa clínica nos mesmos. Após exame radiográfico constatou-se a necessidade de reintervenção endodôntica do dente 11 e pulpectomia no dente 21. Decorridos 30 dias após a cirurgia e reembasamentos dos provisórios, realizou-se os tratamentos endodônticos. Em seguida os condutos foram preparados para cimentação dos pinos de fibra de vidro, confecção de provisórios para posterior instalação de coroas definitivas de cerâmica. Considerações finais: Diante do exposto, considera-se que o planejamento integrado e a utilização de materiais e técnicas adequados permitem ao dentista generalista reabilitar o paciente de forma eficaz com um excelente resultado estético e satisfação do paciente.
