(Uploaded by Plazi for the Bat Literature Project) First record of Pipistrellus nathusii in the department Dordogne, France On August 12th 1978 a decomposing ôPipistrellus nathusii (Keyserling & Blasius, 1839) was found near the village of Saint Martial de Nabirat, in the department Dordogne, France. The skull of this specimen has been deposited in the Rijksmuseum van Natuurlijke Historie, Leiden, The Netherlands. This is the first record of Nathusius' pipistrelle in the department Dordogne.
