Theoretical analysis of seed depilation process

This work is devoted to the theoretical analysis of the process of cleaning cotton seeds from fibers. The mechanism of movement of the flow of fibrous seeds along the surface of the brush cylinder in the chamber of the machine is described. It is shown that the efficiency of fiber separation depends on the speed, density and pressure of the seed flow on the brush cylinder. Based on the Euler equation, the dependence of the normal pressure acting on the seeds from the brushes on the distance between the mesh and the cylinder is revealed
