Description

These are the free software (Smoothness Calculator.exe) along with the MATLAB codes (Curve2_zenodo.m) to calculate the trajectory smoothness. It is part of the paper titled "Quantitative ichnology: How trajectory smoothness of trace fossils informs on body shape, locomotion, and sensory-nerve evolution of eumetazoans during the Ediacaran-Cambrian transition" by Wang et al.
