Description

This repository contains the data and code necessary for Tamama et al. (in prep), Earthquake growth inhibited at higher Coulomb change stress rate at Groningen (submitted to Geophysical Research Letters). This repository contains the following: 

1. The catalog of earthquakes compiled by the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) and the coordinates for the reservoir outline. All catalogs have the values of Coulomb stress change and stress change rate calculated using the mechanical model of Smith et al. (2022). 

2. Functions to calculate the b-value

3. Code to compare changes in b-value with space.

4. Code to compare changes in b-value with time.

5. Code to compare changes in b-value with Coulomb stress change.

6. Code to compare changes in b-value with Coulomb stress change rate.

7. Code to plot the remaining figures in this manuscript.
