ECONOMIC Sentiments in the Mass Consciousness of Russian Society
Authors/Creators
Description
The transition to a market economy presupposes not only the creation of a legal framework for its state regulation, the development of mechanisms for macroeconomic changes, the formation of a system for managing economic processes, but also a radical restructuring of the norms and values that guide economic entities, as well as the development of a new economic consciousness and economic motivation for the activities of the management personnel of organizations and ordinary workers. Unfortunately, the problem of forming an economic consciousness adequate to the objective requirements of a market economy has currently turned out to be practically outside the field of view of scientists, economic management bodies and managers. Meanwhile, during the years of Gorbachev's perestroika and at the initial stage of economic reform in our country, a number of studies were conducted, including sociological ones, characterizing the state of mass economic consciousness in Russia and other republics of the USSR, the results of which have not lost their relevance today
