Family Stylinidae d’Orbigny, 1851
Description.
Colonial (phaceloid, plocoid) corals. Septal symmetry radial, in varying systems, bilateral in one genus. Lonsdaleoid septa absent. Columella well-developed, styliform or lamellar. Wall septothecal.
