Cossack self-government in the eastern ourtskirts of russia

In the 60-s of the 20-th century in Cossack lands of the eastern outskirts of Russia the process of becoming of the self-government foundationbegan. In the base of it there was the state initiative consisting in promulgating the laws about public government in stanitsas and farmsteads. The state caring for the maintenance of the host of Cossack within the eastern borders and supported the idea of Cossack origin and the autonomy and abbed the estate characteristics to the Cossack self-government. The practice of the preservation of the integrity of the Cossack society, estate reservation and the collective guarantee in the solution of military-serving and economic social problems was realized.
