The process of elite formation in the south ural (historical and political analysis)

Geopolitical and economic interests of Russia in the south-eastern regions, the necessity to widen the boards, to increase the country's defenses and mining operations have resulted in broadening of the Russian state to the east in the 18th century, the mediatization of the south-eastern part of Urals into the Empire. At the same time there were processes of the formation of managerial elite in the region which had to perform functions not typical for the management personnel of «rear» administrative districts.
