Dataset used for the paper "Method of estimating sea-surface paleotemperatures through biotic proxies: A case study in Upper Paleozoic paleoclimatic, paleogeographic and paleotectonic reconstructions of Siberia"

The PaleoSib database data are available for analysis using web application PBTV available at https://mironcat.shinyapps.io/pbtv

Data used for application:

  • Paleosib2024_collections.csv - geography and stratigraphy info about used collections
  • Paleosib2024_occurrences.csv - occurrence data represents the occurrence of a particular taxa at a particular location and temperatures.
  • Paleosib2024_references.csv - used bibliographic references
  • Paleosib2024_taxa_with_temperatures.csv - information about temperature ranges for taxa

You can receive data using open API (https://biogeolog.paleobotany.ru/paleosib) provided by Directus ver. 8.

The raw data stored at this repository received used API requests as .json file format:
