243. Issoria lathonia (Linnaeus, 1758) ssp. issaea (Gray, 1846)

Common name: Queen of Spain Fritillary.

Distribution: Kashmir (Moore, 1874; de Niceville, 1886; Seitz, 1908-B; Varshney & Smetacek, 2015; Kehimkar, 2016; Gasse, 2018); 5 km E. Gumri (Zoji La pass vicinity) (Tshikolovets, 2005); Kupwara district (Qureshi et al., 2013-A); Gulmarg, Baramulla district (Qureshi et al., 2013-B); Dachigam N.P. (Qureshi et al., 2014); Gulmurg, Baramula district; Bhaderwah, Doda district (Anonymous, 2020-M2); BGSBU, Rajouri district (Taslima Sheikh, Recent record).

Material examined: India: J&K, Rajouri, BGSBU, 1200 m msl, 02-vi-2019, 33 ο 23’43.0”N 74 ο 20’35.4”E, coll. T. Sheikh, (MDZ).
