Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the implementation of telecommuting, resulting in a surge of cybersecurity challenges. This paper employs a meticulous bibliometric analysis to investigate the research landscape pertaining to virtual workspaces. The objective of the research is to identify current trends and patterns, assess dominant topics, and track the development of research studies in this particular field. Results indicate that articles and conference papers are the predominant types of publication, suggesting widespread adoption within the discipline. The literature exhibits interconnectedness through clusters of related keywords, such as "virtual workplace," "telecommuting," and "mobile computing." The examination additionally highlights the importance of specific terms such as "occupational risk" and "work-life balance." Citations per article and citations per author indicate the significance and productivity of the research. In general, this study offers significant perspectives on the research area of virtual workspaces, thereby directing forthcoming investigations in this field.
