Description

Abstract

This research presents a framework for a cognitive computing model, a novel approach distinct from artificial intelligence, that integrates various cognitive mechanisms to achieve advanced decision-making and adaptability. The model incorporates Attentional Selection, Memory Encoding & Retrieval, Reinforcement Learning, Distress Dynamics, Prioritization, Optimization, Iteration, Belief Dynamics, and Belief Adaptation. Each mechanism is detailed with supporting equations and their integration within the model, emphasizing how these mechanisms work individually and collectively to enhance cognitive processing. This work aims to provide a foundation for exploring this framework and its potential applications in dynamic and complex environments.
