List of European universities offering training and education in the field of geothermal energy

There is an increasing demand of geothermal experts due to the growing geothermal energy sector world-wide, but also a high lack of specialists in many fields of expertise. The complexity of geothermal technology requires a wide range of experts on different levels of skills, multidisciplinary expertise and a good interaction of the several disciplines. Basic training in geothermal exploration, exploitation and utilization is available in most of the European countries, but still inadequate to supply the high skilled workforce needed in the geothermal sector.
