In the square selection, observe the connection between ST-1 and ST-3 through anastomosing networks and radial canals. In the rectangular selection, ST-2 is connected to ST-1 by a network of anastomosing canals. (B) Rhopaliar niche without rhopalium; (C) a detailed view of the subgenital ostium of ST- 2. Note: the gastrovascular system was injected with dye to highlight connections.
