Simple Statistical Method for Determining Ratio of Platelet to RBC

Description
The ratio of platelets and RBC can be determined with simple statistical method as explained in this study.
The Platelets and RBC were counted manually through a well-defined volume on smear image under a specialized
microscope that can display it on a monitor. It was found that the ratio was within the normal range of 1:20 for most
defined volumes on thoroughly selected smear images of normal blood cells. The tested method satisfied most of the
clinical results and can be considered as an alternative one with cost-free.
