PG Candi Baru Sidoarjo is one of the leading sugar producing companies in Indonesia. Its presence in the national sugar industry has an important impact on the regional economy and the availability of sugar as a staple food for society. However, in recent years, this factory has experienced a decline in production at a time when demand continues to increase. Lack of raw materials, accumulation of labor at several work stations, machine working time and decreased use of electrical energy due to lack of raw materials are factors that influence the decline in production. In overcoming this problem, researchers conducted a productivity analysis at PG Candi Baru Sidoarjo by focusing on several criteria that influence production performance. The research method used is Objective Matrix (OMAX). In factories, productivity measurements are carried out using criteria appropriate for each part of the organization to monitor the productivity of that part. This produces four criteria for measuring a company's productivity: productivity from raw materials, labor productivity, productivity from machine work time, and productivity from electrical energy. The results obtained for partial productivity for each criterion are raw material productivity with a value of 7, labor productivity with a value of 10, machine working time productivity at the milling station with a value of 8 and electrical energy productivity at the milling station with a value of 9. Meanwhile, the total productivity results for the year 2021 amounted to 14,216 and in 2021 it amounted to 14,114. Therefore, PG Candi Baru needs to increase the amount of raw materials, adjust the workforce at each station, implement a scheduling plan at each station to prevent downtime that disrupts the production process, and monitor how much electrical energy is used to make it work better.
