This research investigates the impact of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on patient satisfaction
and the quality of occupational therapy services at the National Guard Hospital in Riyadh. A mixedmethods approach was employed, comprising quantitative analysis of KPIs and patient satisfaction
surveys, alongside qualitative insights from therapist interviews and patient focus groups. Findings
reveal a strong correlation between specific KPIs – such as treatment effectiveness and patient
feedback – and patient satisfaction scores, highlighting the vital role of KPIs in enhancing service
delivery. The study underscores the importance of strategic KPI implementation, ongoing training,
and patient-centered care in optimizing occupational therapy services.
