Need for Emancipation from Philosophical categories, of understanding Consciousness as Embodied, Construing Dalit Consciousness as Dispised

Description

In what sense Dalit consciousness may be considered as embodied and in what sense as engaged is the philosophical query explored in this paper. The inquiry under consideration could be placed under theb broader category of philosophical problematic of considering the body/mind as embodied or engaged with in the Indian philosophical traditions with special reference to Samkhya tradition.
