Vallalar and Gandhiji

Tamil literature is known as sangam literature, Moral literature and devotional literature. These can be used as a yardstick to measure the life of the ancient Tamils. It can be said that the life of the ancient Tamils constitutes the norms for us. There are many people who incarnated on this earth as airs before us and showed light to the world. Prominent among them was Vallalar Peruman, also known as Ramalinga Adikalar. He united the devotees by highlighting the ideology that the Lord is a form of light. He translated it as givakarunya for all living beings in the world. Some of his ideologies are consistent with those of Mahatma Gandhi. Vallalar has adopted four types of morals which help in leading a happy life. This type of teaching has also been given to us by Gandhiji. The aim here is to bring together the statements of the two witnesses.
