Limits in the map correspond to biogeographic provinces in Mexico (sensu Morrone, 2005). The image only illustrates one of the species of the family (not the geographical distribution of this species): Apodemia murphyi Austin, species with a Nearctic distribution, restricted to the Baja California Peninsula.
