Deuterocopus socotranus Rebel, 1907: 115. (Type locality: Yemen, Sokotra).
Distribution. Yemen, Oman, Japan, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Taiwan, Myanmar, Indonesia, New Guinea, Australia, Somalia, Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, Republic of South Africa.
Note. This species was recorded from Myanmar (Gielis, 2003).
