MB06-005733; B – Porto Alegre, Rio Malanza (11-10-1954), field number 12b; 1 specimen with SL 133 mm.
MB06-005760; J – Praia Cruz (08-09-1955), field number 55; 1 specimen with TL 259 mm. Purchased from local fishermen; caught with beach seine net (“Chinchorro”).
First record for São Tomé Island: Correia da Costa (1959) as M. cephalus.
