HYPERFACTORY2: Expansion of functionalities of the designed tools and review of the architecture

HyperFactory2 is a project funded by the Valencian Institute for Business Competitiveness (IVACE) and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER).

The project proposes a digitalization architecture in an industrial environment that allows working in the different segments of the "computing continuum" (Edge-Fog-Cloud), and that facilitates the sharing of information between different actors and the management of communications resources using software-defined industrial networks. HyperFactory will design and develop tools that act as enablers of a better, more efficient, and secure operation, covering aspects that go from data collection to the deployment of services in the computing continuum.

This document reports the activities realized regarding the update of the architecture developed during the first year of the project, and the tools developed inside the work package 4 of the Project. Namely, the integration of Trino and IoT Gateway in the Radiatus platform.
