Influence of methods of growing papaya seedlings on development and plant survival in plantations

Optimal conditions for the development of papaya seedlings when grown in artificial substrates of different volumes are created if their volume is not less than 2649 sm³ and seeding directly into the greenhouse soil.

The use of small-volume cups (98 and 785 sm³) filled with an artificial substrate is not effective for the cultivation of papaya seedlings since they do not provide the developing plants with good nutritional conditions.
