Description
The unique approach to education based on ethnopedagogical principles of Hutsul region is researched. The example of Vyzhnytskyi district considers how the integration of national traditions, cultural elements and local customs affects the modern educational process. The study highlights the importance of the activities of local educators who actively introduce knowledge about the history, folklore and crafts of the Hutsul region into educational programs. Particular attention is paid to the role of the Vyzhnitsky specialized boarding school with in-depth study of the subjects of the artistic and aesthetic cycle and the Vyzhnitsky College of Art and Design named after Vasily Shkriblyak. The challenges and prospects for the development of Hutsul studies in the conditions of modern educational reform are analyzed. Thanks to the ethnopedagogical approach, Hutsul educational institutions contribute to the formation of nationally conscious, spiritually rich and culturally educated citizens.
