This release is generated to produce a DOI in Zenodo for citing from a spring 2018 paper. This is the version used for all simulations in that paper. While there might be some cruftiness and deficiencies in the documentation (hence the "beta" tag), this is functionally a solid, working release. Can be used to build single-threaded CPU and GPU simulators.
