Description

Mitochondrial fusion events and their classification into three categories (tip-tip, tip-side, side-side) acquired on widefield, confocal, instant structured illumination and structured illumination microscopes.

This data was used as comparison to modelled, theoretical fusion rates and their contributions to the maintenance of mitochondrial network morphologies.
