EFFECTIVE METHODS FOR ENHANCING LINGUISTIC PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH

Abstract. Fundamentally, a lexical approach to teaching entails placing the main emphasis on assisting students in acquiring language. This article explores the concept of lexical abilities, including their structure, characteristics, and the stable conditions necessary for their development. It also discusses the sequential process involved in acquiring new lexical units. All of these factors must be considered during the process of acquiring vocabulary in a foreign language. The author examines useful exercises that enhance and cultivate students' lexical skills in the English language.
