ОбнаруЖен только у о-ва Беринга на глубинах 100–130 м, на Заиленных песке и гальке.
Р а с п р о с т р а н е н и е. Широко распространенный бореально-арктический вид. В Северном Ледовитом океане распространен циркумполярно, в Тихом океане – от Берингова моря до северной части Японского моря и Британской Колумбии.
