Testrig MoS2 Coatings in unsynchronized, dry-running Screw Compressors: Experimental Insights on Operational Efficiency and Durability

Description
This 3D model represents the test rig for investigating MoS2-coated, unsynchronized screw rotors. The tribological system is examined in terms of efficiency and wear resistance. For this purpose, dynamic measurements are carried out using the built-in load cells and torque measurement shafts. The speed and torque are specified via the servomotors and various operating points are examined. To reduce the influencing factors, an air bearing is used for the rotors so that the friction due to the bearing is almost negligible. In addition to the drawing, the data sheets for the relevant measurement technology are also available for a complete description of the test stand.
The folder contains an Autodesk Inventor project that was created and edited with "Autodesk Inventor Professional 2023". In addition, the test rig can also be inspected independently of Autodesk using the attached STP file.
