? Apis notata Christ, 1791: 188, ♀, ♂, (type locality: Germany, types are lost). Synonymized by Stoeckhert 1933: 64 with E. productus Thomson.

? Apis pulchella Christ, 1791: 194, ♀, (type locality: Germany, types are lost). Synonymy according to Warncke 1986: 108.

Apis murcaria Christ, 1791: 188–189, ♀, ♂, (type locality: Germany, types are lost). Synonymized by Morawitz 1869: 50.

? Apis festiva Christ, 1791: 190–191, ♀, ♂, (type locality: Germany, types are lost). Synonymy according to Warncke, 1986: 97.

Epeolus pictus Nylander, 1848: 174–175, ♀, ♂, (syntypes: 1 ♀, 1 ♂, Siberia; FMNH). Synonymized by Morawitz 1869: 50.

Epeolus productus Thomson, 1870: 91, ♂, ♀, (lectotype: ♀, designated by Nilsson 2010: 88, Sweden, Östergötland; ZMLU). Synonymized by Richards 1937: 99.
