CLINICAL AND FUNCTIONAL ASPECTS OF EARLY DETECTION OF ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION

Description

The basis of socially significant cardiovascular diseases is the progression of atherosclerosis with the development of its complications and in the last 15 years it has been considered from the perspective of the “cardiovascular continuum”. These studies are aimed at identifying masked arterial hypertension, high normal pressure in middle-aged people, as well as identifying the frequency of cardiovascular complications in patients with uncontrolled arterial hypertension. Identification of patients with high normal blood pressure, as well as masked arterial hypertension, allows for control of risk factors and asymptomatic target organ damage.
