Description
Recent advancements in technology and methodologies have revolutionized linguistic technologies, including the development of expansive models like ChatGPT. Emphasizing FAIR principles and Linked Open Data (LOD), numerous projects have enriched the data landscape. EU policies now prioritize data sustainability, promoting data reuse and standardization.
The DigItAnt platform, within the ItAnt project, focuses on creating linguistic resources in Linguistic Linked Open Data (LLOD) formats, specifically for digital epigraphy. It contributes to the Heritage Italian Open Science Cloud (H2IOSC) infrastructure project, aiming to unify national research nodes. DigItAnt supports the CLARIN-IT LLOD platform, providing tools for creating and linking LOD-compliant lexical resources with other digital materials.
This work was carried out in the context of the Project of National Interest "Languages and Cultures of Ancient Italy. Historical Linguistics and Digital Models" (PRIN 2017XJLE8J) funded by the Italian Ministry for Universities and Research (MUR).
