Dendrolagus stellarum Flannery and Seri 1990

Dendrolagus stellarum Flannery and Seri 1990, Rec. Aust. Mus., 42: 180.

Type Locality: Papua New Guinea, Western Prov., western end of Dokfuma basin, Star Mtns, 3000 m (5°01'S, 141°07'E).

Vernacular Names: Seri's Tree-kangaroo.

Distribution: New Guinea, from Paniai Lakes east to Hak-Om region, northeast of Telefomin, 2600-3200 m (Papua New Guinea).

Conservation: Unknown.

Discussion: Described as a subspecies of D. goodfellowi, but differs absolutely (diagnostically) from that species.
