Spilocuscus kraemeri Schwarz 1910, Sitzb. Ges. Naturf. Fr. Berlin: 406.

Type Locality: Papua New Guinea, Admiralty Isls, Manus Isl.

Vernacular Names: Admiralty Island Cuscus.

Synonyms: Spilocuscus minor Cohn 1914.

Distribution: Manus and Lou Isls.

Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: Separated as a species by Flannery (1994 a), who noted that it is very distinctive, but that it does not occur in archaeological deposits, so may possibly be derived from introductions.
