Type Locality: Papua New Guinea, Western Prov., Fly River.

Vernacular Names: Fly River Leaf-nosed Bat.

Distribution: New Guinea.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Vulnerable.

Discussion: cyclops species group. See Flannery (1995 a) and Bonaccorso (1998).
