Monodelphis unistriata Wagner 1842, Arch. Naturgesch., 8 (1): 360.

Type Locality: Brazil, São Paulo, "Ytarare" (= Itararé).

Vernacular Names: One-striped Opossum.

Distribution: State of São Paulo, Brazil, and Provincía Misiones, Argentina.

Conservation: IUCN – Vulnerable.

Discussion: Apparently known from only two specimens.
