Subspecies Soriculus nigrescens subsp. minor Dobson 1890

Discussion: Formerly most authors included Chodsigoa and Episoriculus as subgenera, but both are treated as distinct genera here, following Hutterer (1994 b). Genus reviewed by Hoffmann (1985 b).
