Type Locality: Cambodia.

Vernacular Names: Pileated Gibbon.

Distribution: SE Thailand and Cambodia south of the Mun and Takhrong Rivers and west of the Mekong River.

Conservation: CITES – Appendix I; U.S. ESA – Endangered; IUCN – Vulnerable.
