Type Locality: Madagascar, Tamatave, ca. 18°S, 14°E.

Vernacular Names: Large Iron-gray Dwarf Lemur.

Distribution: E Madagascar, about 17°- 18°S.

Conservation: CITES – Appendix I; U.S. ESA – Endangered.
