Eudorcas rufina Thomas 1894, Proc. Zool. Soc. Lond., 1894: 467.

Type Locality: "Hab. Doubtful. Type bought at Algiers "; "probably the interior of Algeria " (Lydekker, 1914 b:66).

Vernacular Names: Red Gazelle.

Distribution: N Algeria.

Conservation: Thought to have become extinct in 20th Century; see Corbet (1978 c:210); IUCN – Extinct.
