Ratufa bicolor (Sparrman 1778)

[Sciurus] bicolor Sparrman 1778, Samhelle Hand. (Wet. Afd.), Vol. 1: 70.

Type Locality: Indonesia, W Java, Anjer.

Vernacular Names: Black Giant Squirrel.

Synonyms: Ratufa tennentii Layard, in Blyth 1849.

Conservation: CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
