Distribution: Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cameroon, Sudan, Dem. Rep. Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania.
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: bivittatus species group. Includes cistura; see Koopman (1975) and Peterson (1971). Revised by Peterson (1971).
