Myotis oreias Temminck 1840

Myotis oreias Temminck 1840, Monogr. Mamm., Vol. 2: 270.

Type Locality: Singapore.

Vernacular Names: Singaporese Whiskered Myotis.

Distribution: Known only from the type locality.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Data Deficient.

Discussion: Known only from the holotype. Redescribed by Francis and Hill (1998), who noted that the type locality is questionable.
