[Vespertilio] noctivagans Le Conte 1831, in: McMurtie, Animal Kingdom, 1 (App.): 431.

Type Locality: "Eastern United States ".

Vernacular Names: Silver-haired Bat.

Synonyms: Lasionycteris pulverlentus Temminck 1840.

Distribution: S Canada, USA (including SE Alaska, and except extreme southern parts), NE Mexico, Bermuda.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).
